Smash hit disaster movies have been a staple within the film industry for decades.   Due to the recent increase in demand for costumes to use in Natural

Disasters (such as the LA Fires), Pandemics (such as the Coronavirus) and Germ Warfare related items, we have added new Haz-Mat and Bio-Hazard Sets and

Suits to our existing rental package.   They are of our own Royalty Free Design as are the Patches on them.   We still have the decades old standards and

more are available now than ever at our main web site.  WonderWorks inc. near Hollywood in Los Angeles County, has been producing realistic and fantasy

replicas for the film, museum and aerospace industries for more than 40 years and is 3rd generation Price Family owned and run.   Our rentals range from

simplistic and inexpensive walk-arounds to realistic custom suits. They are discounted when you rent a full-sized set such as our Haz-Mat Lab, Habitat or

Command Center.  But we are on a Mission ourselves to produce credible Sets and Suits for now and the near future rather than recycling wonderful and

iconic designs from a quarter of a century ago.  These are not toys nor your Grandfather's Haz-Mat Suits.

Our Suits have been designed to be light and comfortable and Do NOT require an on-site technician or cooling system for filming.     NOTE:  Now ALL Film

Grade suits come equipped with a complete Passive Cooling System, as used by the American Military in Afghanistan, at no additional charge.  They were

made to be donned in less than 3 minutes without a trained or expensive "technician" on standby!   In other words, no hidden expenses.   We do not use an

arbitrary or ambiguous "Good" or "A Level" type of rating system.   Ours are rated as "Film Grade (Highly Detailed for Movies)" and "Budget/ Costume Grade" (for

Much of our research material was provided directly by Privatized Companies or by their vendors.   WonderWorks clients have included NASA, X-Prize -

Spaceship One, SpaceX, Lockheed Martin SKUNKWORKS and nearly every major film studio or museum worldwide.    In creating our suits we purchased and

referenced new, or from auction, real suit components for unmatched accuracy to detail.   Everything has been modified and tested for ease of use by actors.

We now only have high-end Film Grade suits and have phased out most our Commercial Grade HAZ-MAT rental suits for lack of interest and sold them at

auction for educational use.  Part of this is because it is so inexpensive to buy real suits that are simplistic.  We will soon have a very limited number of suits

complete with helmets, gloves, patches and boots made specifically for STUDENTS, SPECIAL EVENTS, PARTIES, EDUCATIONAL, etc.
